I open my eyes early every morning
Can you guess my first thought?
(Here is a hint, it starts with "ugg")
Are morning meant to begin as such?
This thought perpetuates through the day
My mind being flooded with this feeling
I cannot grasp why it associates with my every idea
What am I?
Surely trees exist
Fish breathe
Birds even fly
Why do I feel less alive than all of these?
I am a soul.
There is an awakening found everyday
New meaning
New hope
Reassurance of existence
Purpose amongst all this chaos and potential depression.
Life is defined in so many ways
My words sitting in front of you now makes me feel alive.
Hearing the sound of my sweet instrument sing to me awakens my soul.
My friend, I strongly encourage you to answer my questions. Most importantly, answer this one. What make you feel alive?
Do not seek what this world needs. Search for what make you feel alive
this world needs alive people.

Hi Ikthys,
I makes me feel alive, my own beliefs, my own feelings, not the feelings of others. Being positive.
Making meals, enjoying good food, writing stories,
poems. Listening to my music. Doing yoga, playing
scrabble, going for walks, reading good books, watching a good film, having a soak in the bath,
going for a swim.
Those are the things that make me feel alive.

Hi Ikthys,
Well first, I do enjoy my own company. I don't always
rely on other people to do things with, well apart
from my partner ofcourse. They can let you down, I
also think that by doing things on your own, you get
to meet knew people.
What kind of music do I prefer? Well I like Jimi
Hendrix, The Doors, Pink Floyd, Kate Bush, Caravan,
they are an old 60s band. Lynyard Skynyrd, Wishbone
Ash, Robert Plant, Free, Evanescence, Tori Amos,
David Bowie, David Gilmore, Clannad, Steely Dan,
Stevie Nicks, Fleetwood Mac, Neil Young, Black Sabbath, Thin Lizzy, Jefferson Airplane,
Sea Sick Steve, Radio Head, Cold Play. Bet you wish
you had never asked.
What do I define as good films? Well believe it or
not I love fantasy, horror, Comedy, One of my favourite films is The God Father, also Dances with
Wolves, Lost Boys, Walt Disneys Bambi, Lord of the
Rings.

anything that evokes emotion makes me feel alive. anything that arouses passion or anger or sadness or happiness. anything that makes me laugh and smile or frown and cry. anything from a joke to music to a touch.
