Birds consume tiny insects like we take
sandwiches. They taste chitin, protein.
Because they know what is essential?
Actually, birds don't fly. They manoeuvre
through our rigid universe just to show
us that we act like weather beaten stones.
They ponder. But birds don't use any ink.
They whistle. And that's how birds think.

I read an interesting (well
I read an interesting (well to me interesting) article about how some birds are able to navigate. I didn't understand it, of course, because it used the language of nano physics. This much clearer.

I've kept coming back to this. It's wonderful. You draw blundering humans and the uniqueness of the bird species is suddenly common sense.
