The Relationship is like a crocheted blanket, comforting but with gaps.
Missing pieces prevent me from seeing it as all encompassing and impeccable.
While clinging to the yarn I can kid myself we are in prefect harmony, in love and happy.
But then my clasp slips and I find myself falling through a gaping abyss of fear, loneliness and anger.
Into what exactly?
The arms of someone else?
Or the suffocating infinite swound of doubt, mistrust and despondence. Who knows?
But then the journey through the entwining filigree yarns continues and the façade, while making an effort to evaporate, remains.
The relationship lingers and the entrapment lessens, maybe this is what ‘love’ is?
