Bubble-bubble

I left this little bubble,
Little bubble of my world
Into another bubble of a never-never world
And though my bubble was void now
(and my little world was empty)
in this little dreamlike-bubble
All; I could behold
I could see all mankind's bubbles
-and the bubbles of the gods-
I saw two lovers in their bubble
in park by a cafe
I saw some soldiers in their bubble
Rotting patient in decay
I saw the bubbles of the kings
And rulers of the world, their beauty
Seemed to sing with stench
And some unspoken things
The humble Sheppard's bubble
Was plain but seemed the best
When bubble-popping times came round
To put them to the test
So saw I bubbles far and near
And everyone was in them;
Dreaming in their little worlds,
A film away from freedom
A billion-billion bubbles are
a-floating in the sky
for all their countless troubles
they cannot find out why
they revolve around each other
but remain confined and solitary
My eyes pierced through,
Through bubble-walls and Hey!
What did I see?
A bubble-wall so vast
It encompassed totality
(so it seemed to me
all we seemed to be
were bubbles in a bubble
bubbling all about)
then retreated I back into
my little private bubble
hoping to save bubble-kind with my
Newfound comprehension-of-the-bubble
(but all it brought was trouble)
my notions it brought frictions
and as you all should know;
rubbing bubbles up the wrong way
will cause them all to blow
A Billion-billion bubbles
a-bursting in the sky
A Billion-billion bubbles going
Pop!Pop!Pop!Pop!POP!
Until it tore that
Vast enclosing membrane

then what was heard was;
One Almighty 'BANG'

Scary. How true. Well written if you ask me. Good sound effects! &&
