Quiet! Quiet! Walk on tip-toes,
look through the frame of the ranking beans.
Make no sound, hold your breath,
and look between the finest leaves.
What do you see? A fairy so fine,
the sun through her golden body shines.
She has picked a leaf; the colour of wine,
and she sews a dress of cobwebs fine.
Quiet! Quiet Come away from the trees,
we don’t want the little One to flee…
