2010

It is the beginning of 2010 and I am looking forward to the new year. I am sitting and listening to REM and enjoying the early morning. It is the middle of summer and the days are very long and scorching hot. Some days I sit outside and have a few beers while listening to music on the hi-fi. It is nice out in the garden underneath the blue sky scattered with white clouds. There is plenty of bird life in our neighbourhood, and we have a multitude of doves in the vicinity. In our area you also find a variety of tiny purple-blue butterflies that are quite common, and in summertime I can always spot them fluttering about in our garden. The wind is always lively and refreshing outside. I will be doing this again today.

2010 has a nice ring to it; let’s hope it’s a good year.
