The Blue Sky.
Beyond the green valley and the distant dark mountains, the sky was azure blue. The clouds floated about thickly above in the clear blue sky. The wind stirred them in ultra-slow motion as they floated from the one corner of the heavens to the other.
The sun shone golden and warm from on high. The sky was undisturbed, save for the occasional passing flight of some birds. They flew gracefully, and for purposes of their own, from perch to perch. Their wings glided them effortlessly on the light air currents.
A large aeroplane hummed noisily above, and flew slowly overhead like a fat, lazy bird. After a long time the aircraft and its noise disappeared from sight and sound. The blue heavens where once again tranquil and serene, stirred only by the sounds of birds in flight. The thick, white clouds were soft, as bales of sheep’s-wool, above.
The wind stole softly about its business, and there was nothing else besides the blue, blue sky.
The End.
