A donkey is one step better than a mule. A mule’s**** is no good to man or beast. A donkey is however just a donkey, it is not a horse.
Then you get some horses that are donkeys, as in horseracing where the horses that come last are termed “donkeys”.
Finally you get the real horses, which are the ones that win the great races. This is the difference between the three.
