As I was walking down the street…
As I was walking down the street on a late spring afternoon, I thought to myself; ‘City-folks are otherwise…’
The leaves on the trees were a light, bright green. The breeze was cool and pleasant. The sun was setting in the west, and there were pink, and gray-blue fleece clouds on the horizon. The sky grew steadily darker.
The stars came out one by one, until the night was black and shimmering with silver. I sat on the porch and looked up at the sky. The thorn tree’s branches were spread out like cobwebs against the pale-moon sky.
As I was lying in my bed on an early spring evening, I thought to myself; ‘City-folks are otherwise…’
The End.
