Savannah Dream.
The valley was hot and dry, and the sun was shining scorching white above in the clear blue sky. The savannah was stretched out endlessly in tall, yellow grass plains. Red, dusty sand covered the earth between the fields of grass. The wind blew steadily across the plains, stirring the grass.
The antelope herds were grazing contentedly in small groups against the mountain slopes. A mighty lion charged through the valley, his paws thrusting against the ground as he ran. The grass swayed from his path as he ran strongly over the veldt. He ran on with power.
High above an eagle soared in the rich, blue sky. It was large and dark, and it circled easily in the sky, floating on the wind currents. It circled. From on high it could see the entire valley, and beyond. It kept on circling easily in the sky. It let out a long and lonely cry as it flew and circled above.
The lion was still running through the bush in powerful and easy strides. It ran on through the veldt with it paws thrusting against the ground, and its great heart pounding. Its eyes shone with a soft, yellow fire, like the grass, and like the sun. The lion ran on.
The veldt was hot and dry. The yellow sun shone above. The wind gently stirred the endless stretches of tall, yellow savannah…
