One might have a dream about some invisible, omnipotent being chasing you down a long corridor of rooms. The entity that is chasing you in this spiritual sense is ‘God’. The rooms are brightly lit, and in fear and panic that God will catch up with you and your conscience, you flee from room to room. They are separated by doors. You open a door and flee to the next room, but always God is close behind – on the point of catching up with you. You run, and your breath races and your heart pounds rapidly. Always you are fleeing, and always God is catching up on you, with each passing second. Ultimately, in one of the rooms, he catches up with you, and you are his; enveloped in light. The truth is like this; eventually it catches up with you and overwhelms you completely…
