Bound. Chains crush wrists.
Twist. Have I deserved this?
Read: what is written into
the shame of my disgrace.
Crossed: the line breached;
accidental. The letter of the law
bleeds across your conscience,
with pain the instrumental.
Do you dare speak? A heartbeat
throbs. Quell the angry mob of
my regrets. The questions roar
inside my ears. You take the floor.
Caught. Fly stuck in your web.
I see red as you remove my
dress. Purposeful. Revenge is
best served neat. Anticipation.
You smile, fall at my feet.
Astonishment. A swift defeat.
I am awed and humbled in
the face of your sweet intent.
