I am the scavenged breast of hope
I am the flower of the war
I am the heart that’s tied in rope
I am the stream that bled the ore
I am the Other and the Same
I am the empire of the clam
I am the rune and tomb arcane
I am the hand that plugs the dam
I am the bird that breathes the flame
I am the throat that roars I am

Thanks again, maggy. 'I am' is a theme I've studied for a while now as I believe it's an inherently epic phrase (hence the title). It will come up again. :)
