Three old men in short-sleeved shirts, khaki shorts, deep tans, white hair. Germans. Expatriated to Cuba to for the cheaper life and easier sex. Drinking beer and smoking fat cigars. Chatting in Spanish to the forty-something Cuban woman who sent her daughter packing when they colonised her table. Chatting and assessing. Blue eyes in ruddy skin, framed by deep Caucasian creases. Glancing down from her face to guess at the body beneath the loose purple top and the tight three-quarter-length yellow trousers. Money to spend. Shame long gone. She'll go to bed a little less poor tonight.
