Breaking from a written future
While he makes you tea
Munching on a kitkat
The best way to be free.
Not caught in tripping traffic
of numbered second hands
Munching on a kitkat
allowing time to stand.
Give bullets to frustration
and rifles to sighs
and munching on that kitkat
you're closing cans of lies.
The farming through of children
Stealing coins for thoughts
But give them each a kitkat
then look at what you've bought.
