You stand in shadow-light
nothing yet a ghost to me
Surely I had forgotten it
the way he looked into me
I can hardly remember the
insignificant years stole
from this innocent memory
That does not matter now,
I should not even see the
ghost now standing slyly
behind the fear reflected
in my damn deep dark lake
I wishing I could not see
your haunting words still
torturing doubts from me.

Love the two-stanza split here, Kahdai! A beautiful yet haunting poem. Just a little typo; 'slyley' should be 'slyly' :)
