We who love to read,
to think we know it,
able to learn it all.
The books teach again,
the story lengthening,
world still changing,
can never know it all.
Read a growing history,
you'll never know what
they have been through
or every future holds.
See the world through
a million pictures
you will never see.
Learn of all the places,
you know you can never be.
Specialise your mind,
commit your knowledge
to one thing you love.
You can read about this,
look it up onliine, now
your whole world opens
outward and takes hold
of your brain.

This is brilliant, Kahdai. Maybe think about tweaking the final stanza thus:-
"You can read about this;
now, look it up online.
Here on in, your whole world
opens outward and takes hold
of your brain."
Your poetry is coming on in leaps and bounds. Keep writing.

- love these stanzas, Kahdai. Wonderful poem and so true - it's a big world out there and we can never really experience all of it, even though it's good to try ;) Well done!
