Mothers Love

Not wanting to remove the
long blue cloth, carefully
wrapped over her head and
around her neck, shoulders,
covering her, she knowing
without it on she will feel
so insecure, wading hips,
yet none knew her, there.

Not as they called her a
young mum, she was a
sensible woman, this
little baby was her Kaur,
princess, long wished for
finally granted at a time
she would have to be wrap
her headscarf around her,

tyed her round her chest
carrying her to any safe
place to stop rest, feed
still with grateful awe.
Mothers love is sacrifice
everlasting unconditional
and infinite, do anything
to earn their child love.
