The hunger of Smog,
only likely to grow,
the kings dilemma
and heartbrakes
for lottery
seeming a favourite
luck was taking no bribes.
The many who were led out
a candle lit in the window
for the loved ones spirit
sent out to the flag post.
For Sabra, hime of theirs
all the castle-town cries,
a long scarlet silk ribbon
one to the flag post ties.
Dust cloud ride towards
in the red desert sands,
a chesnut & white horse,
an empty white sheild.
The metal warrior,
his silver sword,
the green dragon blood,
a red cross makes his crest.

One of the fastest I.P's I have seen, an excellent take on it, I love the language you have used.

Yes shoe, I was eager to try it, I ent english or christian, however always liked this story & the sheild changing at the end, it became part of my art exam years ago because of this painting: http://www.artmagick.com/pictures/picture.aspx?id=6037&name=the-princess... . Had to be pre-raphaelite, I see I spelt the name sabre, like a sword, I oughts correct meself!

Transcription, that's what I was meant to do, I hated art as a lesson, still can't stop myself though, fail or not, I would always be an artist. I also swapped over some lines.

Highhat, I don't know if it normal to put (I.P.) next to IP inspired poems, I saw it done & figured (dare not say assumed) that was what others was doing. :) Your name, pia! Sorry I have never heard it before & it being all small letters! I like unusual names though, do you have a special meaning or names-sake? Thanks Magic dear, so glad you like! Thankyou both for read & commenting! xxx
