Thought train

When the train jolts across
my head bumps against glass
again find myself dozed off
look for a sign in the grass

Nothing out the window knows
how far away I feel from home
anything to tell me if am lost
until I can name the next stop

You would all be waiting for me
yet I was on another train now
a thought train stole my mind
time to leave my home behind
while you wait beside a bed
hoping I will find my head.

I too like your word play with 'train'.

A clever poem that lots of people will be able to identify with.

Well done;-)
