Should not wistfully wish on the stars,
should not run to the edge of the water
in the steamboat wake leaving me behind
should not gaze longingly at the trains
as they chug peacfully along the tracks
even when life feels stable and secure,
should not be tempted to leave my life.

Very interesting take on the IP, the temptations are not vices but innocent, simple pleasures. Just a person who feels stifled and wants to be free.

this was a wonderful piece of writing and one I
would have related too, in my twenty's, yes I was
always wishing I was somewhere else back then.
