Thanks, Macjoyce. Great to hear it had the desired impact. I was under the impression a haiku shouldn't have a title because it would kind of be a way around the syllable restrictions. "Canada" would be interesting though, almost a winter kigo in itself considering the average climate.
I envy you, keleph. When I see something I don't care for, all I can do is try to make fun of it. It would take me a thousand words to say what you've said in fifteen. I don't care whether it's a haiku or a frying pan, it's bloody good.

Ooh. That hit the spot, the way a haiku should. It's even a proper haiku rather than a senryu, as it alludes to winter.
Why not call it 'Canada'?
