day two of the struggle!

from the ABC set a short fat 30 year old mum

Think I need to get my dictaphone an everytime sw1 goes near sw2 there's a sensor which sets it off with the message "leave your brother alone". Not that he hurts him he just won't leave him alone!

We never got round to making cookies yesterday so the chocolate ended up in my mouth, not quite sure how but not a great start to the diet!

Poor sw2 had to have his 3month injections so am coping with him rhubarbing at the moment (rhubarbing is crying the phrase originated with sw1 as it used to sound like he was crying rhubard rhubard!) whilst sw2 is making a road out of mud in the garden.

My best friend came round this afternoon with cake as it is 30th birthday today so I couldn't really say no! So what have I had today?

3 cups of black coffee
4pts of water
Small bowl of branflakes & semi-skimmed milk
3 fruit scones (made with sw1 so had to try 1, not quite sure about the other 2 though!)
Small piece of fruit cake
Apple
Baked potato & baked beans
2 waffles, quorn burger & carrots

On the exercise front I've been on a 30mins walk, done 100 situps & spent most of the day trying to placate a baby & running around after a 3yr old so finally I'm able to sit down & relax for 5mins before I go to bed!

I know this time very well - from our own experiences and now watching our kids going through it. It is fun - but it's also hell! Try and expand a little on what you're feeling, how you are coping with this ridiculous task of raising small children and running a house and ... and ... and ...

Keep writing though - it is cathartic.
