THE ACT
Civil jets turned into bombs
Day turned into night
Offices turned into tombs
By those who think they're right.
Human worth reduced to naught
Peace turned into fear
The "nine to five" to battle fought
By those who'll shed no tear.
Flesh and bones reduced to ash
Concrete turned to dust
Steel crumpled into trash
By those who think they're just.
THE ANSWER
Reprisal first, on valid proof
Punishment fitting and just
No propaganda, just plain simple truth
From those in whom we trust.
Consensus, then, from Governments all
Plus the will and the way to succeed
A promise to see that the terrorists fall
A promise from those we let lead.
