TERROR

from the ABC set GHOSTS, GHOULS AND SUNDRY HORRORS

A graven face
With terror stark,
A mind beseiged
By nightmares dark.

A quailing heart
By fear consumed,
A haunted man
Despairing, doomed.

A dread that stalks him
Drawing nigh,
A certainty
He's soon to die.

A fear that grows
With dark, with night,
A spirit that fails
As fails the light.

A horror snares him
Holds him fast,
A life snuffed out
It's over, past.

A dawn that finds him
Ashen cold,
A tale now ended
Its story told.

A faceless evil
Seeks victims new,
A fervent hope
It won't find you.
