THE CASE IN QUESTION WAS IMMEDIATELY DISMISSED BY THE JUDGE.
BUT WAS THE RIGHT VERDICT REACHED?
THERE ARE SEVERAL ELEMENTS THAT ARE NOW OPEN TO DISCUSSION.
1) Was the man guilty?
2) Was the woman deluded?
3) Did the woman’s outburst contribute to the judge’s final decision?
4) Who do empathise with and why?
5) What was the point of the religious connotations?
6) Is there more to this than meets the eye?

In my opinion I do think the man was guilty, he was trying
to make out that the women in question was deluded so he
would be free, it looked like it worked.
Personally I don't think the woman was deluded, why would
she make a statement, that her husband was not honourable,
what would she have to gain by lying?
I empathise with the woman, because being a woman myself,
I know how hard it is to prove when a man is being unfaithful, you see it enough in the papers. I was raped
once, but never went to the police, because I had no proof,
so that is why I empathise with the woman.
I believe that she brought out the religious conotations,
because she was angry and wanted to show him that god was
watching his every move.
There is definitely more to this man than meets the eye,
he tries to act all calm and in control, while the poor
woman is frantic, the more frantic she gets, the more the
judge thinks she is mad, but really it's the calmness of this man that is proving he is the bad guy.
Well that's just my opinion, having never done jury service, I have probably got it all wrong.

It is supposed to be laid out centralised and in 2 different fonts for the character emphasis but alas abc does not have this facilty ..... yet ... we live in hope -:)
