Vyctoria broke down crying with her hands to her eyes she said,"Oh my god...really...you mean yes..I am!"
The voice said,"Yes Vyctoria...I have chosen you and four others.....you shall play the Starring role...put your clothes back on sweetie ...stop crying now...the show is coming very soon so we must work hard to give the people our best!"
Vyctoria sniffled...wiped her tears and said,"Oh I will...I will work so hard for you...I will."
As Vyctoria put her clothes on...the voice gave her instructions....."There is a room with the letter S and the number 2 on the door...the man in the gray suit will take you there.....It will be your study room...your living quarters for the next three days....your script will be in the same type of lighted letters on your wall...food and drink...whatever you need will be delivered by a tray in the kitchenette.....you simply say what you want and in moments it will be there."
Vyctoria smiled and asked,"Anything I want?"
The voice said,"Yes...listen close to this though...since we have little time....we use a ground breaking method to prepare actors for the show....you may question the method but know this....your take of the show will be three hundred thousand dollars...you must do as directed and at the end of the rehearsal...you will step into Stardom!"
Vyctoria almost passed out when she heard the amount she would make...her heart was racing...she was so happy and excited...she had only been in the city for two weeks and she had landed a Starring role in a play...for lots of money! She finally and nervously got her dress on...she pulled it down and picked her purse up.
The voice said,"You may go now" as Vyctoria thanked her with almost every step out of the gold and black door. She went straight to the exit door and the man was waiting for her. He swung his arm out and said,"After you Miss."
They walked and he directed her to turn left...left and left on the same floor. Her door was at the center of a T at the end of a hall. He handed her a white key card...told her to enjoy her stay...turned and walked away.
Vyctoria swiped the card and enamel white door slid open. The first thing she saw was the light green tint to the room. She stepped in slowly and thought it looked like the interior of a space ship meets modern decor. She went straight to the massive window that made up the entire wall to see a breath taking view of the harbor.
She heard what sounded like a wet vibration of some sort. She looked up and saw the sky...the whole ceiling was framed glass. She spun in a circle trying to take it all in. The furniture was wildly exotic....she touched what looked like a short couch...it was soft white rubber...the base was glass...the chairs were white rubber and glass too...the kitchenette was all clear glass...the bathroom had a glass pipe coming from the ceiling with a glass shower head on it. The commode was even glass!
It disturbed her a little that the bathroom was right out in the open. She took off her high heels...sat them on a glass end table and hear that noise again. She looked back and the door had opened and shut. She said out loud to herself,"What is that...why did my door open?"
A young female voice came from what seemed like all around the room and said,"It is the air vents on the center roof....we're sorry but maintenance engineering is working on the problem....you must slide the card in your door station to lock it or it will open on command."
Vyctoria hunkered down a little and with a slightly scared voice said,"Who are you...what is going on here...I didn't tell the door to open?"
The voice said,"I am your servant connection...you say what you want...such as meals...room temperature...etc....Someone in the hall must have ordered their door to open with a similar voice."
Vyctoria walked to the door and slid her card in the slot while saying,"What is your name...you do have a name?
The voice answered,"Shyless...you may call me that or simply ask for what you want."
Vyctoria giggled and said,"I love that name...Shyless...well...Shyless...I would love a small cheese pizza and a bottle of Canei red wine...I didn't have lunch."
The voice said,"We have much finer wine if you like? Vyctoria smiled and said,"No thank you...I love Canei...and could I have the bottle in an ice bucket...that would be grand!"
The voice said,"As you wish...I will call you when it has been place in the tray...you will see a green lighted button on the wall...all you have to do is push it."
Vyctoria gave her thanks and sat down on the strange couch. She rubbed it with her hands and thought how soft and smooth it was...she had never felt anything like it. She laid back on the couch...giggled and put her legs up...she moaned about how good it felt. She heard that annoying noise again as she walked to the gigantic window. She watched the boats in the harbor and saw the streak of gold sunlight on the ocean.
"It felt like heaven" She thought as she twirled on the soft white rubber floor. She danced as if she were dancing with angels. It wasn't long until the voice said,"Your meal and wine is served."
She rushed to push the green button...a tray in the wall opened and there was her pizza and Canei wine..with one crystal wine glass. She took them from the tray and sat them on the table. She grinned when she saw that the pizza had been cut in little hearts.
Vyctoria was about halfway through her meal when she was startled by something...a glimpse of a curved line of light went past the big window wall. She spoke out,"Is some one there...who's there?
The voice said,"Did you call for me?" Vyctoria said,"No...I just thought I saw something...hey..the pizza is perfect!"
Vyctoria burped a little and said,"Excuse me...hey can you hear everything I do...everything I say?
The voice said,"No...only your questions and commands come through to me...I hear nothing else."
Vyctoria said,"Diddle...diddle...ding dong (silence)....zipadeedoodah!...(silence)...wow!"
She finished he wine and pizza...now it was time to study the script. She commanded loud,"Show me the script!"
White letters appeared on the south wall as it turned darker green. The window wall was east and there was another green wall to the north.
She read the first line,"Bring to me...sail your love with breath!"
