Four white stones fell from the ceiling and a large book on top of them. As the dust cleared, Gozin picked up the book. Cora gasped and whispered,"The Book of Darkness....I knew there was an original...they didn't destroy it." Daniel took her hand and whispered,"That is one weird looking book."
(The Book of Darkness has a cover of snake skin and seven human flesh pages. The book is 2 cubits by 3 cubits. The cover has a cobra head on each corner. Seven virgins were sacrificed by the writer. Their frontal skin was peeled...cured and the prophecy was written on them. His initial is at the center of the pentagram. The initial is a Roman M. The church believed it to be Magus.)
Gozin opened the book to the first page and began to read," The great one shall arise from beneath the earth of new Babylon.....he shall be born of element and evil...he shall be anointed with blood of his enemies and flesh of his triumphs...his crown shall be the moon and his staff shall be the serpent of sin."
Gozen then closed the book and screamed,"Civitas diaboli.....civitas diaboli....collubrem insinu forver!" (city of the devil...cherish the snake in your bosom) Gozin then dropped the book at the head of the altar. He walked to the four entities...he ripped their robes from them. Their bodies were the colors of yellow, black, white and red. Their bleached white heads began to rock forward and back. They moaned a four note song that sounded somewhat like a death march.
The time was 11:46...the birth was late. Natasha Issem fell to the floor, writhing in pain. Her legs melded together and her arms melded to her side. Her hair sucked into her head that was becoming oval and flattened. Her tongue lashed out as she squirmed and slithered on the floor. She became an eight foot flesh covered serpent. The serpent coiled and then sprung up to lay on Dorina. Dorina's mouth opened extremely wide and the serpent entered her. Dorina's stomach trippled in size.
Chief Charlie nudged Daniel and said,"Oh...I think we are going to need a shit load of back up." Gozin laughed and shouted,"Invite the world if you wish...the Master is to be born!" As the tail of the serpent disappeared in Dorina's mouth....Gozin commanded the four entities to enter. They transformed into 4 slugs in pools of snot. Gozin scooped them up and fed them to Dorina. He then chanted,"Ab inito....ab inito...ab inito."(from the beginning).
Daniel, Cora and the others began to focus on Father Rossini. Father Rossini stepped closer to Dorina and softly said,"Caelitus mihi vires." (my strength is from Heaven) He traced the nine pointed star on his chest with his finger...as it became a star of light. He took the three silver crosses and cast them in the mouth of Dorina. She chewed, spit them back at him with the force of a bullet into his chest. Dorina laughed as Father Rossini fell to the floor. Gozin laughed with her.
Daniel and Cora ran to his side and Cora held his head in her hands. Father Rossini smiled and said,"When the child is born...cast the blood on the book and the bullets into Gozin." Father Rossini was bleeding profusely as he died in their arms.
Chief Charlie shouted,"What the hell do we do Daniel...what the hell?" Agents Staplin and Williamson drew their guns. Agent Staplin shot Gozin as Danile shouted,"Nooooo....not now...noooo!"
Gozin grinned....spit the bullets back at Agent Staplin and riddled his body with seven shots. Agent John Staplin fell as Agent Alice Williamson tried to catch him. Chief Charlie helped her drag him away from Gozin who was stepping towards them. Daniel shouted,"Hey...ugly ass...your bitch is about to drop the kid!" Gozin turned and saw the gushing of fluid coming from Dorina.
Gozin grunted and rushed to the end of the altar. Dorina screamed with pleasure as the head began to come out. She leaned up and grabbed the head to pull on it. It was 11:55 and the baby had to be completely born before midnight. She pulled as the child screamed with a hiss! She dug her fingers into her vagina and made way for the baby to exit. The baby was covered in blood as she laid it on her breast. The afterbirth was a mixture of white snake skin and dead slugs.
Gozin raised his hands, fell on his knees and shouted,"Master...oh Master of all...Master is born!" Dorina sat up and cradled the child in her arms. She cleaned the blood from the baby with her long hair. All of the sudden she screamed,"NOOOOO...Gozin you f***ing fool...noooo...this can't be....nooo!" Gozin with a begging voice cried out,"What is wrong....what is wrong my Queen?"
She held the child up and Gozin screamed,"Rossini....Rossini..Ahhhhhhhh!" Before Gozin got his scream out....Daniel unloaded his revolver in Gozin's chest after splashing the vile of blood on the book. Gozin spit the last bullet back at Daniel, hitting him in the chest. Daniel fell as Cora screamed. She sat and began to cry with him in her arms. Chief Charlie ran to them and then ran for the exit to get help.
Gozin stumbled to the side of the altar as Dorina held the child in his face. The child opened it's eyes....they were ebony black..it spoke to Gozin saying,"You have failed me slave...I am born....yet I am born with no seed...did you not see the 9 pointed star of the feminine power on the chest of the Priest...look at it...look at your failure!"
Gozin shamefully looked between the legs of the child and saw there was no genitals....just a nine pointed scar. Gozin fell to his belly and cried for mercy. Dorina held the baby close to her and said,"You are mortal now." Gozin screamed because of the pain in his chest....he screamed for help! Agent Alice Williamson walked up to Gozin...fired 5 shots in his face and cried while shouting,"That was for John you f**k....that was for John...Chippy!" Gozin was finally dead.
The room began to shake and the candles glowed ten times brighter. The mouths of Dorina and the baby opened wide. They gagged and regurgitated gray slime as spirits exited their mouths and joined together. The spirit hovered and then formed into a being of light. Daniel, Cora and Alice could see that it was beautiful...too beautiful to look at directly. It was male but had the beauty of a female. It blasted the old book with fire from it's hand. The book burned away instantly.
The spirit smiled and said with a deep passionate voice,"I shall have my seed...it shall grow in woman...I shall bring a new prophecy to the world soon....bellum omnium in omnes!" (A war against all)
As chief Charlie ran back in, the spirit faded into thin air. Dorina laid on the alter with her baby. She whimpered and the baby cried. Agent Williamson went to help her and noticed that the scar on the child had disappeared and female genitals were in it's place. Dorina and the baby were human...completely human. Cora held her hand on Daniels wound....he had become unconscious. The sirens were faint but help was on the way.
Father Rossini and Agent John Staplin had given their lives. Daniel was on the edge of giving his.
Seven days later, Daniel looked at the hospital ceiling and said with pain,"If this is hell...they have a lousy f***ink decorator!" He turned his head to the side and there she was...his very own angel...Miss Cora Hampshire. She had been sleeping in the chair for the past seven days. With tears in her eyes she went to his bedside, grabbed his hand and kissed him gently.
Cora explained what happened that night. More Secret Service Agents came to remove the Body Of Agent Staplin and Vatican Agents took Dorina and her baby back to Rome. Father Rossini was buried at Forrest Hill Cemetery two days ago...the Pope himself gave a blessing at the funeral.
Daniel asked,"Is Charlie OK?" Cora giggled and said,"Oh yes...he and Agent Alice Williamson are watching Betty for you...I stopped by yesterday and Alice came to the door in a red nightie...Charlie was..well...out of uniform." Daniel chuckled in pain and said,"That dirty old dog...I can't take him anywhere."
Daniel tried to sit up and moaned in pain. Cora grabbed his shoulders and told him not to move. Daniel grumbled,"I hate just laying here...I want to get up...you wouldn't like it either!" Cora stepped back....lifted her dress off and climbed under the sheet with Daniel. She snuggled up to him and whispered,"I don't think it's all that bad...a matter a fact..it feels nice."
Doctor Mullen came in the room and saw Daniel was awakened and Cora was awakening him even more. Dr. Mullen grinned and said,"Daniel....you cops have all the damn luck!"
