Daniel pulled into the park entrance and saw a black car in the distance. He drove slowly by it and saw the driver was a young woman. There was a man in the passenger seat though. He parked in front of the black car. As he got out, the man and woman got out. It was Father Rossini and he was with a beautiful young woman. Father Rossini looked to be at least 80 years old...he wore a black trench coat and a black fedora hat.
The young woman resembled Jackie Kennedy a little. She was stunning and Detective Collins could hardy take his eyes off of her. Daniel wondered what this pretty lady was doing with this old Priest? Some leaves were falling in the park and the light breeze carried them like little boats in a draining ocean. Haunting peeks of sunshine came through the old pine trees on a nearby hill. Three people meeting in the park were soon to stroll in the hell of Hell.
Detective Collins introduced himself, they all shook hands and Daniel pointed to a cement park bench for Father Rossini to sit. Father Rossini said, "This is my assistant, Cora Hampshire...she is well read in the ancient texts....anything said to me can be said to her." Daniel smiled at her and said,"I have to warn you....I really...really clash with females." Cora smiled back and said,"I know...mid 30s...no wedding ring....sloppy dresser." Daniel cut her off and said,"OK...OK...I get your point."
Father Rossini chuckled and said,"Settle my children...we have much to do and little time....tell me what you have so far, Detective." As Father Rossini and Cora sat on the bench, Daniel stood by a maple tree and said,"We have 6 horrific deaths and one we thought was dead but came back to life." Daniel began pacing and continued, "There were little crosses on each body.....each body had exactly 20 wounds...it looked as if they killed each other in a frenzy....the one we thought was dead was a elderly woman....now she is in the hospital...changed into a teenage girl...she changed her name from Mona to Dorina and keeps chanting a thing about fives."
Cora looked at Father Rossini and said,"It is her....he will come for her." Father Rossini nodded his head yes as Daniel asked,"Who...who is her and who is coming for her?" Father Rossini spoke out,"Daniel my son....she is the very entity that all of mankind fears to meet....he is who delivers the seed of evil itself." Daniel said with a disappointed voice, "Come on Father....I'm a Detective...homicide....I know very little about religion."
Father Rossini coughed a few times and asked Cora to explain," Cora began telling a chilling story. She looked at Daniel saying," You might want to sit by the tree." Daniel said ,"That's OK" and just leaned on the tree while folding his arms. Cora spoke with a little tremble in her voice," The cross you saw on the Internet was made by a monk in 633 AD....it was to be a weapon against pagan kings....it was made from the golden calf of Israel."
She went on,"The church of the time discovered the calf in a cavern.....the monk was secretly commissioned by an evil Bishop to melt it down and make it into a cross. When he presented it to Pope Boniface the fifth...Boniface cursed the cross and told the monk to destroy it. The monk tried to destroy his great work of art but no fire was hot enough...it simply would not melt."
Daniel asked," OK...I kinda get the cross thing...but how did pieces of it wind up here." Cora looked at Daniel and said,"I will get to that but you must hear it all." She went on,"The monk informed the Pope that the cross could not be destroyed....the enraged Pope ordered a vault to be constructed....the cross...The Bishop, the monk and his two apprentices were sealed in the vault alive.....with just a 3 inch air vent...the vault was kept secret until the late 1700s."
Cora took a sip of bottled water and went on saying,"When the vault was opened....3 whole skeletons were found and 60 sharpened bones.....three had killed the fourth....sharpened his broken bones on the stone walls and killed each other with them...just like your killings here."
Daniel asked,"What did they do with the cross then?" Cora answered,"It was placed in a new vault in France...the 300 pound cross was considered to be a kind of antenna of evil....when the cross was first made....it was said to be a woman body on it....when it was discovered ...it was a man....we believe that the souls of the men buried with the cross...somehow entered the gold." She added,"A prophetic book was written about the cross but.... was all but destroyed by the Nicene Council, 300 years before....the book says that the cross is Satan's way to reproduce...his seed was cursed.....so... he used the power of this evil cross to create a host for his egg that was taken from a serpent....the host is none other than Satan himself."
Daniel shook his head and said,"Now...you are telling me that the girl we have in our very own Morisin hospital is Satan?
Father Rossini spoke out,"It is written in the Book Of Darkness Daniel...Satan manipulated the Bishop and the Monk to replicate the great sacrifice...he used the graven idol of the cross to empower himself in the flesh of a female. God cursed his seed...his seed was made dead in the garden....the girl you have in the hospital awaits the seed of man...she is to give birth to Satan's son....the cross has served it's purpose...the gold is just gold again."
Daniel began pacing again and said,"Cora says that the cross couldn't be destroyed...how did George make the little crosses then?" Cora spoke,"The cross was stolen and cut in 5 pieces....it couldn't be destroyed then because the monk simply lied...we recovered 4 of them years ago....the thieves were all dead....your little crosses that you have here were mentioned in the Book Of Darkness...."The idol will be quartered and the heart will make children of he that reigns the hollow darkness."
Daniel half grinned and said,"Does this mean the frenzied suicides have stopped since the gold is now powerless?" Father Rossini answered,"That part is over....we now have to deal with the male...a very...very powerful demon...he is impotent and must locate 4 unique worthy seeds that have been cast in the flesh....he must take it from women who have just experienced intercourse...insert the sperm in his testicles and he will then kill them...he will search out four couples!"
Danile said,"Oh great....now this shit...sorry Padre ....you mean this nut is going to kill people ....put sperm in his nut.....and then have sex with a girl who just yesterday was an old woman...I just can't wrap my mind around that!" Cora spoke up,"Detective Collins....you must believe us....the male will come soon to gather his seeds...there will be much bloodshed." Daniel put his hand on his gun and said,"I'll just shoot the bastard...end of story!"
Father Rossini laughed and said,"You can't kill an imp...they are ancient servants of evil." Daniel asked,"Then what in the hell do we do?" Father Rossini said,"For now...we wait until the first strike...he will lurk day and night...he will search for the perfect seeds....he will find them and then.....we will stop him!"
A haunting wind came whistling through the trees. Leaves swirled and fell around them. A boy on a bicycle rode past and just stared at them. Cora added,"We have to move the girl to a secluded place...he will come for her there...then we make our move."
Daniel in anger said,"This is going to put my ass on the line...I may not even have an ass when this is over!" Father Rossini said,"My son...the world's ass is on the line...if we allow the entity of evil to reproduce...the children of Satan will murder and or enslave all of us." Daniel stomped his foot and shouted,"Why in the hell doesn't God fix this!" Father Rossini smiled and said," He is...that is why Cora and I are here....please trust us....give us what we need and we will triumph."
Daniel stared at them both for a moment and said, "What the hell....Padre....Miss Hampshire...you have my full cooperation....but just how do I convince the Chief that this makes any sense at all?" Father Rossini answered, "Let me talk with him...I will do what you need....you must do what we need.....from this moment on...we must stay together...he knows we are here....he knows we are against him."
Daniel's cell phone rang....it was Chief Camden.....the Chief said,"Where in the hell are you Daniel....we have a double murder on 211 Bane Road.....a sister just walked in and found her brother with his crotch missing and his girlfriend missing a stomach...get the hell over there now...I'm dealing with the f***ing FBI here...calling you from the shitter!" Daniel told the Chief that he would get right to it.
Daniel told Father Rossini and Cora that he had to go. Father Rossini stood up and said,"We must stay together Daniel...we must go with you." Daniel shrugged his shoulders and said,"What about your car?" Cora said,"I'll call to have it picked up." The all three got in Daniel's car and drove to 211 Bane road which was only a few minutes away.
As the tires squealed, Daniel shouted, "It must be our boy...Hi Ho f***ing silver!" Cora nudged him and said,"We could use less of that Mr. Ranger." Daniel winked at her and said,"Sorry...I just can't help myself sometimes...I will try harder though." As they pulled up to 211 Bane Road, there were only two Police cruisers and one ambulance there. A few people were gathering but thankfully no media yet. Daniel told Father Rossini and Cora they would have to wait in the car but Father Rossini insisted they not be separated.
They argued a little and Daniel gave in. All three entered the house as Officer Peirce told Daniel that Joe Blackstone was on his way and they are putting out a false address over the radio. Officer Pierce looked at Father Rossini and said,"A little late for last rights isn't it?" Daniel smirked and said,"They're with me...forensic experts." Officer Pierce told Daniel that the victims names were, Jason Smitts and Nichole Bane...they were found naked in the kitchen...there was KY jelly and a vibrator still running on the table.
It was just as Chief Charlie Camden said,,,,,,Jason's crotch was ripped out and Nichole had a large rip from her vagina to her left breast. Officer Pierce pointed at the refrigerator and they all saw a pentagram painted on it in blood. It looked like it was spat on like a leaky air brush. Father Rossini said,"Five for the sinner."
