A kid is looking forward to his first day of school. He goes into class, not shy but not very out-going either. He sits.
After a few weeks he is labelled clever by the other children, a real smart ass, and so they dislike him. He is excluded from their games, bullied, left-out, shunted.
So he rewinds time and begins the first day again. This time he answers questions incorrectly on purpose, acts kind of slow.
After a few weeks he is labelled dumb by the other children, a real idiot, and so they dislike him. He is exluded from their games, bullied, left-out, shunted.
The kid is confused.
He rewinds time again and begins the first day over, again. He acts totally average in every possible way.
After a few weeks he is labelled normal by the other children, a real ordinary guy, 5 out of 10, and so they like him. He is allowed into their games, he is accepted, he is in.
