The Day I Go,
Will be the worst day,
I can’t bear to think about it,
Let alone do it when the day comes,
When I finally have to say goodbye.
The Day I Go,
Will be the hardest day,
Leaving you both behind,
Yet never forgetting about you for the rest of my life.
What a hard day it will be and how did the day come so quickly.
The Day I Go,
Will not be the last day we meet,
But the first of those long, sad goodbye’s,
Wishing I never had to leave you both again,
Wanting to come back every single minute of the day.
The Day I Go,
Will kill me inside it will be like,
Taking away my happiness and throwing it away,
The happiness that we all shared for a short but legendary time,
I will never forget the days we share together.
The Day I Go,
Will be hard indeed however,
I will be back so don’t you go forgetting me,
Because I won’t forget you, not ever because,
I love you!

There is alot of emotion to this poem, I had an ejoyable read. It sounds very tragic.

hello lennie. 1st like you ,Im not used to doing poems, and stories, age ?is immaterial for me. just have a go. well done 109 3 stories very good. The Magician, and The Man IN bLACK WAS IT, SORRY is that the title, Im trying do right comment. It is a very sad poem when I go. Is it true about something, someone. I go to writing group homeless there we do all kind groups there. Keep up the good work. Hope all work out for you. Cavalcaderl

Thanks Cavalcaderl yeah The Day I Go is about me and my to best friends because I'm moving away n thankyou I didn't expect this many views I just wanted to see what people thought of my poems all three of my poems are about me personally and about how I feel about things, the writing groups sound good n I'll have to look at some of your work and I will leave some feedback thanks for your comment most greatful.
