This is England
A country of racism, homophobic insults and damn right rudeness?
Rebels, anti social youth, people who don't care or don't understand?
Don't know what to say, what to do, insults flow from tongue, easy
lingo. Mask the fear behind the glory. Maybe?
This is England
A country rich and powerful, full of happiness and rain.
Rich but still living with poverty, helping others out before herself.
A country so powerful that she is feared by others,
though trapped by water. Strange.
This is England
the country that is perfectly fake.
Forgetting the homeless so the glamour and glitter
is still broadcast at large.
Masking the weakness and putting on a front and
uttering sweet bullshit to appease the public.
Racism, insults are to be made politically correct, avoiding shame,
slipping under the radar.
So in the end all you can do is be proud or pitiful?
This is England.

I can't decide if this is a rant or a debate, I like it though, especially the middle verse, stirring stuff!

Hey shoe,
Its abit of both really, im more annoyed at the people who run the country rather than the country itself and thankyou glad you liked it!

If it's a rant, fine. If it's a debate, I beg to dIffer. I'm sure I'd rather live here than Zimbabwe, Burma or Iraq.
