Daf moves house

Daf has a clubbed foot - shy -
But has always just got on with it.
Works hard, even if she´s just sitting there,
And I won´t hear people say otherwise.
Wanted to ask her why they had moved house,
Reconstructed piece by piece afresh, their old home,
Literally, just down the street.
Was it to get away from the dead baby
Buried under last seasons mass of twigs and rubbish?
I don´t know. Perhaps they just fancied a change...
