Three daggers in a heart

from the ABC set Sometimes, only paint will do.

In the East, she left three daggers in a heart.
By this stone she sits to wipe the blood on moss
Under the single light of one true moon.
It is all Shakespeare, any play,
Though she is no Iago, she has victories and vanquished.
Though she is no Witch, there are things that she has seen
And by this stone she sits, to wipe the swords clean.

I like this, simple, clever, short.

That imagery aligns well with the classic literature and ideas. It's a natural fit. Quite an experiment!
