I have a dream
of god and light and things
and yeah I have a picture
of jesus in my pocket
it doesn't mean anything...

I say two prayers each night
before I go to sleep
perchance, just in case
but I'm not religious
and when I slip him
under my pillow
I make sure
you can see his face
and sometimes check
to see if there's
any holy light
shining out from
his delicate portrait

So yeah I have a picture
of jesus in my pocket
perchance, just in case
anyway I don't clean
the church, every
Saturday morning
or do good deeds
throughout the week
there is no chain
around my neck
with a golden crucifix
or bible by my bedside
to guide my thoughts
no, just a picture
of jesus in my pocket.

Beautiful love the way you
have told it. but Jesus is
with all always if wanted. I do have "The
light Of The World Picture" on our
wall as my belated pop alway's had one
not religous. One day through things happening
daughter small got me one from loacal market I was
thrilled.So take that photo out and put it on your
bedside, be surprised prayer's asked can be answered.
But then I do have other things to.
