A wooden necklace from Mexico
sixteen pound train tickets of hope
blogs to read and follow, people
you do not understand left behind
but the train it goes on unassuming
not allowing thoughts to give up
I will wave to you from my window
what else is there to do as I run
trundling on you will never catch me
now for I am gone, so give up, forget
disremember the memories I gave,
give them back, wipe them from
the blackboard, unravel the cine film
empty my face of feelings you once saw
look elsewhere in this world universe
it is largest look to Plato/Socrates
for your amusement but leave me be
I do not understand don't want
to be your challenge, stimulation
simple as a chestnut the girl on the train
leave her to a future of clarity blue skies
smiles ice cream times and sun hats
hand felt warmth in fingers, kisses
smiles genuine feelings of promise
don't spoil with turmoil or fear
she asks you to leave her be.
