Uninhabitable Realm

I enter through the marshmallow veil
All myself strips away
I dance in the playground of my mind
As naked as the soul
As old as God
As wise as the fool
Here I see and feel myself
In a million disguises
Stealing images of friends
To run broadways finest
Objects are weighty and flighty
Meaning is so ripe it's sticky
Yet in that land
My deception is complete
No lucids
Just Narratives bound
Inaccessible to distant probes
As real as real gets
Crossing back through that veil
Most of the journey is stuck there
But sometimes powerful gifts
I fill in my arms
Pure and stolen from the
Massless Realm
The gifts maybe a quick melting sock
A dissolving book
Light headed briefs
Or a single ski of ice
All of them leaving no trace
But sometimes a record
Written sleepily in their honour
Let us with this cherish
The concrete of our world
The push of gravity
The enduring of objects
The warmth of an embrace
The permanancy of enemies
And the fickleness of love
