unknowing student

I am laying here innocent
yet to be kissed by your words
I seek out chocolate
because I can't wait to be filled with something else
I am a virgin mind
who is as yet unsullied by your vocabulary
my neurons are connected
but you will connect them in ways
that they have never been connected before
I am inexperienced in your ways and your art
you will guide my hand
and cast light into the the darkest recesses of my mind
I crave your experience
Like a match once lit, craves its matchstick
You give me some future dream of the foreplay we will enjoy
But even those drops of distilled web
hint at the infinite chasm of my unknowingness
I will be a student
We will be your students
Our brains, our trillions of neurons
Will but scratch at your benign omniscience
But we remain eternally grateful
As we digest and expound and rejoice
in some of your interconnected fragments
As percieved by our incomplete faculties
