The Internet is a Recent Invention

I am so glad the internet did not exist when I was a teenager. Otherwise, all the rubbish I wrote then would have been put up on this website for everyone to see. It would have been here forever, and would even be here now. It is better in a book in a drawer than on a worldwide computer network where millions (or more likely hundreds) of people can actually read it. I feel sorry for people who are teenagers now. How will they feel when they see their work in twenty years time?
