Kisses At Your Garden Gate

from the ABC set Tales Of The Rainbow Dragon

The kiss starts out so playfully; mischievous, almost teasingly.
Tongue darts, to erotic parts, pleasure flows in waves so pleasingly
As passions rise and intensions harden… I'm invited to your hidden garden
Forcing myself to make you wait - I circle around your garden gate
Admiring the dark surrounding bush - I fight your urge, for me, to rush
Then drawn within as passion mounts, that passion is soon ALL that counts
Senses combine and thought is gone; where once was two, now only one
We wrestle lost within the kiss, rocking, rolling, then explosive bliss.
Happy and shining, sat on the floor, you lean toward me - “Just one more?”

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I’m not sure how we met but I tried to ignore her.
Lucy she was called and there were diamonds in the blue sky of her eyes.
She seemed to be fascinated by me but I was ‘spoken for’ and so I did everything I could to avoid those sparking diamond looks.
She seemed so lost, alone and yet I could feel the desire burning within her.
Being a good man I befriended her and in recognition of her need I took her to a party and left her in capable hands.
As I was walking away I felt a pang of regret as a gust of cold wind pierced my convictions and sent a shiver of something not fully identified through my “you did the best thing” comforter.
I heard a step behind me and knew before I turned.
Without a word I took a hug for the cold and felt the warnings stiffening.
The primal need for piercing; for bits of me and she to share the same space, to shine within each other, to burst and mingle like fireworks in the night flooding the darkness with their chromatic pyrotechnic intensity and then lingering, their light almost spent, falling to earth together like sacred sparks into a sea of surrender.
I struggled with a surge of passion which almost knocked me over but I managed to pull away and we walked with only the sounds of the night, our matched footfalls and the pumping promise…
Thanks Pesky!
It doesn't seem to have gone down as well as I expected...
Perhaps the double entendres are too risky.
Thank you maisie!
The prose that follows the poem was based on a dream
and I wrote it as something of an exorcism...
cold showers proved to be more effective ;O)
I'm not at all sure how Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds crept into it...
the dream was not even faintly psychedelic :O)
Be well and be lucky!
when i was at an all girls high school - the bullies used to sing '' in the sky with diamonds' at me....
a kind of curse/hatred thing.
you live you learn.
Doesn't sound like you were appreciated Maisie.
Reminds me of a friend who despite being a talented artist and banner maker ended up teaching art at an all girl Asian school because she had found it increasingly difficult to make ends meet living off her art...
