I Did Nothing...

This cat lay on its back,
enticing me to rub its very furry belly,
and be enclosed, trapped in very sharp, tugging claws.

Your lipstick is too red for comfort and your eyes,
and that smile is pulling me into a wealth of trouble.

Wrong,
is to move in a certain direction,
that will destroy foundations and a history of other love.

Blood is pulse thick passion burning,
it takes a moment,
and then another,
thinner than a blink,
to catalyst a B52 strike over innocent territory.

I did nothing,
and the near miss,
like a soft hand,
brushes my hair.

I like the contrast of detailed images and strong emotions
