A red cherry should glisten,
siren red, lipstick red,
but not offensive.
It's perfect size is made for the shape of a,
pouting,
then slowly opening,
mouth.
Fingers gently hold the long, slightly curved, bee's leg stalk,
and then you gently suck,
the cherry off.
Cherries are no respecter of men or women,
they infer a juicy encounter,
and a stone for a heart.
The receiver hides the intense gratitude,
and immediately longs for another.
Those without,
wait,
rejected,
but fully aware of the idiocy,
of a small fruit reward,
and are bitter,
as an unripe...
cherry.

Thanks a lot, I love the way we are all so officially unaffected by being, or not being affected by the `Cherries`.
And, love to eat `em!

You can suck on the cherry stone for ages and lay it on the bedside table at night..That way the experience lasts longer and may help you quit smoking..

Nice story! I pictured this really easily. Does the cherry that goes with it what you imagined? =) Much enjoyed.

Good question Savannah!
As I was writing it I felt it was good enough for a cherry!!
But so what?! Some of my favourite poems uploaded remain cherry less!
