There is a beauty on this path and light
I watch for signs of growth a sign of love
the time to dive is when the water's high
the time to swim is when you're strong enough.
The one I seek is found where blood is spilt
the one I love has known no other heart
she walks as soft as summer's tender lilt
when twilight falls the tender day departs.
A fantasy in blue and grey is she
the music heard in far off rooms a fall
this melody is lost in chords of heat
so traumatised in passion knowing all.
My love is liquid in this quiet glow
I stare at stars that shine at what they know.

Absolutely beautiful, such lyrical phrasing, and gorgeous imagery. I can see myself coming back to revisit this one. Very well done :)

Thank you so much Lem for your kind comment!
It was my attempt at a Shakespearean Sonnet and it didn't `feel` forced, so I was pleased!
