saw a boy being pushed
by in his mother
in his wheel chair
they passed a young mother
pushing a pair of giggling toddlers
did he think he would ever
grow up,
ever push the chair
Under his own power
he seemed to want the indendence
helping his mother
by pushing the wheels as she
propelled him onwards
waiting the day when she allowed
him to control his own life.
