Frustration
by Paul McCann
Living within isolation ,
frustration setting in ,
like the blood in my vein or the winds and the rain ,
with no invitation it gets under the skin ,
like a poisonous sting from an invisible thing , effected by frustration
It’s a storm that’s raging within ,
I’m missing something ,
someone’s forgetting ,
I’m just existing but don't seem to fit in ,
I’m withdrawing again from the pain of all my frustration
Thoughts in my head
like a tiger in the bed are eating me up
and pushing me further into frustration
and its so unforgiving when you’re hanging by a thread
in the land of the living .
I know I'm not admired
but I'll try to be inspired ,
if that’s at all possible ,
because nothings unstoppable
and anything’s better than nothing at all
when no one seems to hears you call .
