A Day In The Life ch45

Chapter 45

Undeterred by the light rain Ty and his gang were gathering in the park off Wellington Avenue.
Paul hunched into his jacket,
"What we gonna do tonight?
Ty shrugged,
"Dunno, anyone got any cash?
Between them they had just over ten-pound.
"Shit we aint gonna get far on that are we? Mags kissed his teeth, "not even enough for a decent amount of weed.
"Why don't we hook up with Vin, he'll sort us some cash out.
Ty looked over at Paul who stared down at the floor,
"Fuck Vin, you know he thinks he's a notch above the rest of us.
Nobody said anything.
Aran and Jay joined the group breaking the silence.
Ty turned to the newcomers,
"Jay, you got any cash?
The Chinese boy shook his head,
"Me old man has been keeping an eye on me, can't get nowhere near the till.
"What bout you rude boy?
Arran, also shook his head.
Ty looked back at Paul,
"Fuck it, looks like our first priority'll be making some money.
The rest nodded their heads.
Getting up Gazza grabbed his holdall,
"I'm going over the gym.
"What again! Ty portrayed animated shock, "shit bro why don't you come out with us, make some money.
"Shit Ty, that's exactly why I'm going to the gym,
"You alright Gaz? Jay asked, "you seem kind of distant.
"I said that earlier, Paul looked concerned, "he does don't he?
"Nah, I'm cool.
"You sure bro?
"Yeah sure.
With that Gazza extended his fist and tapped it against the rest of the member's before turning,
"You be lucky yeah.
"Always. The rest chorused to his retreating back.
"I'm gonna go and all, T-bar declared, "I gotta meet that bloke innit.
"Okay rude boy, Ty nodded, "we'll be back in a couple of hours if you're done.
"Yeah, give me a ring when you're finished, I should only be a couple of hours, laters yeah.
Mags looked at those remaining,
"What shall we do then?
Ty smirked,
"Jack someone I s'pose, just a case of where innit.
Aran's face lit up,
"Shall I go and get the shooter?
"Na, na we'll use that some other time, Ty shook his head, "we can jack some students or summit, don't need a gun for that.
The group murmured their agreement.
"Come on then, Mags jumped off the swing, "let's go, sooner we go, sooner we'll be back right.
They set off in a group, heading out of the Riverside.
"What about St. Peter's? Paul asked.
Ty shook his head,
"We were over there the other night.
"I know then, Aran offered, "what about Milo Street, there's loads of exchange students there, you know, round the coffee shops?
Jay agreed, looking at Ty,
"Yeah, sounds promising, what do you reckon?
"Yeah, sounds like the place, them foreigners have always got plenty of goods on them.
