Upside-down

A window sill full of love and adoration
Is enough for quiet hoisting
Onto a trampled lawn
And soil

A rickety staircase thuds a thousand feet
Next to heads full of dreams
And grassy musings
In verse

A door which is slammed to no tune or metre
Into its catch whilst another cuts
Into arms insignificantly
And bleeds

Narnia beckons from an open window
With numerous cars driving
And lives living
Blindly...
