“Scheduled Moments”

'Sail away with me honey' one of my favourite songs and this indeed an extremely pleasing poem.

Skilfull indeed to write a poem that is indeed just a snapshot, if you like, of a few fleeting moments and all the more effective for that.

'That scheduled moment –
a moment when the world
within the pocket of my
Leather-like jacket
vibrates – a call on hold;
a voice to recognize.'

I loved the first stanza. It emphasizes how this may just seem like a simple thing but to the person it means so much more than that.

"my eager hand searches
the pocket like a maze
thinking it’s just somebody
with a list of questions;"

Imaginative way of going about it, never would have thought of it myself really heh.

You've turned a simple action into something great, some good talent showing :)

For a Seventeen year old I find your poetry exremely mature and sensitve. I've read a few now and I'm sure I will keep going till I'm through the lot.
