A Day In The Life ch06

CHAPTER 6

Beep-beep-beep-beep-beep-beep-beep-beep-beep-beep,
Ty pulled the pillow over his head.
Beep-beep-beep-beep-beep,
"Oh fuck off will ya.
Dragging the pillow away he sat up and looked at the alarm, snarling.
Beep-beep-beep-beep-beep,
Smashing his hand down on the top of the digital clock and shoving it from the bedside cabinet it landed on the floor.
Beep-beep-beep-beep,
"Arrrgh¦.
Leaping out of bed Ty scooped up the alarm clock and threw it against the wall. The cheap plastic device hit a poster of a gun wielding rapper exploding into pieces. With a look of satisfaction Ty returned to the warm confines of his bed.
A couple of minutes then he'd get up.
With his hands behind his neck he wondered what to do with his day.

Most of the gang would bunk off school so they'd probably sit round listening to music. He wondered if anyone would have any money or weed left from last night, he should have saved some, but when he started smoking that crack he just couldn't stop.
Smiling he thought about the feeling the small white rock gave him, the members of the crew who didn't indulge didn't know what they were missing.
Stretching and letting out a groan Ty's thoughts returned to money.
Tonight would be easy enough, something would come up, it was just getting through today.
Vinnie, an old friend, had a result, he'd started dropping off for a dealer he always had plenty of cash, or so he said.
At the thought Ty grimaced, fuck Vinnie, he thought he was a cut above the rest of them now he was earning.
It should be him.
For a moment he wondered who he was dropping off for.
It couldn't be Jarvey, if Jarvey had wanted someone his age it would have been him. Probably one of Jarvey's bag dealers, making a couple of quid for dropping off. Risking his neck while they made all the cash.
Ty knew his day would come, he'd be the next Jarvey, he'd run things.
Life would be good.
