is too dirty to eat;
can the dirt be brushed away?
is it worth the effort?
the giraffe becomes
mindful of its
status as
a tall
beast

giraffe,
being tall,
wonders if it
could reach the top of
the tree it stands before.
is the fruit there worth eating?
he brushes off the fruit
which dropped to the floor
and sets about
eating it -
it tastes
